We are seeking a land surveying AutoCad technician or drafter to join our land surveying team. Position involves preparing and drafting boundary / topographical surveys, writing legal descriptions, preparing easement exhibit drawings, and drafting house plot plans.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter, motivated to meet internal deadlines and possess the ability to clearly communicate with other team members. Must have strong math skills, computer skills, and ability to work well with others in a team environment. In addition to a strong technical skill set, the position requires basic proficiency with Microsoft office applications and AutoCAD.
Requirements - Candidates should possess the following:

High School Diploma

Certificate in Autocad Drafter or Associates degree in drafting or design technology

Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam

LSIT or LS is encouraged, but not required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparing survey drawings including boundary surveys, topographical surveys, ALTA surveys, and other types of general survey drawings and exhibits.

· Drafting house plot plans, making edits and getting field data incorporated into the drawings to issue for permits.

· Writing legal descriptions and calculating closure / areas.

· Preparing various legal descriptions and legal description exhibits.

· Calculating and setting point files for field crews for construction staking.
