Land Survey Instrument Operator / Party Chief 

 

Phelps Engineering Inc (PEI) is seeking a full-time land surveyor instrument operator / crew chief. This is 100% outdoor position. Successful applicant will be a key member of field survey crew as needed on various types of land surveying activities, such as construction staking, boundary surveys and topographical field surveying. 

Applicant must have previous work experience working on a survey crew, be responsible, have solid work ethic, be physically fit and have a positive attitude. Experience as crew chief or instrument operator strongly preferred. 

The hours associated with this position are generally from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday with one hour break for lunch. Seasonal overtime work will be required from time to time depending on workload.
