Christ Community Church Addition
Olathe, Kansas
PEI completed land surveying and civil engineering design services for a 10,000 square foot building expansion to this existing church. Work also included master planning the entire 10 acre property, completing a stormwater detention and BMP analysis & design, public sewer main extension and private site plan construction documents. PEI also provided assistance to the owner during construction. A later project included adding additional parking for the growing church.

PEI completed a boundary and topographic survey of the existing church property. Then, PEI assisted in designing a master site plan and civil engineering design for an expansion of their existing facility. PEI prepared construction documents for the new nursery / pre-school expansion, playground and detention basin improvements.

Parking Lot Addtion
Olathe & Overland Park, Kansas
PEI has completed two projects for this growing church. The first project involved the existing Olathe church experiencing some flooding on the lower floor. PEI was retained by the church to study the problem and provide recommendations for a solution. An analysis of the situation was completed and report prepared outlining options for the church to fix the problem.
PEI was also retained to design a parking lot replacement project for the Overland Park campus. The existing parking lot asphalt pavement was failing and PEI prepared design and construction permitting plans for a new concrete parking lot. Challenges included addressing stormwater runoff, phasing and coordination with utilities.
Redeemer Presbysterian
Overland Park, Kansas
This existing church desired to complete a large renovation and construction of a new worship sanctuary. PEI provided all land surveying and civil engineering design for the new building expansion, play field and parking lots, performed stormwater detention analysis and prepared stand alone detention plans for a new 2 acre pond. During construction, PEI performed construction staking for the general contractor.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
Gardner, Kansas
PEI provided land surveying and civil engineering design for a parish center building and parking lot expansion to this existing church. Work included relocating existing public sanitary sewer and water mains, which required PEI to prepare public improvement plans. Challenges included evaluating the existing detention basin for adequacy for the new expansion and storm sewer design on an extremely flat site.
